On 4 August, police stopped Kejriwal’s march to the PM’s house and AAP sat on Firoz Shah Road. The same day, Delhi taxi operators protested at Rajghat after Parliament-march permission was denied. Punjab Assembly also passed a resolution against mandatory E20.
After Punjab’s Assembly resolution, Kejriwal said AAP legislators in Goa, Gujarat and Jammu & Kashmir will table similar anti-mandatory-E20 resolutions. No fixed dates yet.

LocalCircles (June 2026) found 66% of pre-2023 petrol vehicle owners reporting a fuel-efficiency decline of more than 10% — up from 45% in their May 2026 wave. Among mileage respondents, 23% reported a drop above 20%. These are owner-reported survey findings in the public domain, not our invention.
The same LocalCircles June 2026 survey found 55% of respondents reporting unusual wear and tear or higher repair need — nearly double the 29% in May. Workshops separately describe clogged injectors and filters; that workshop pattern is anecdotal, while the 55% figure is from the published survey.
When E20 is the practical default at nozzles, “choice” is theatre. E0 (100% petrol) may exist at some stations, often scarce or costlier. This site’s demand — sell E0 alongside blends with clear labelling — is a policy ask, not a survey statistic.
Wear from fuel chemistry is rarely what motor insurance covers. Warranty positions for non-E20-calibrated vehicles remain grey for many owners. Keep invoices and written dealer replies — that is process, not a percentage claim.
Lower energy density in ethanol blends means you refill sooner for the same commute — a quiet monthly tax on every working rider and driver.
Injectors, filters, pumps, seals. Repair frequency is up in workshops serving older petrol fleets. That money leaves household budgets, not PowerPoint slides.
Import savings and farm ethanol are real goals. They do not require deleting E0 from the pump. Consumer choice and national strategy can coexist.
Sincere in substance. Satirical in packaging. Read them slowly — this is what the movement is actually asking for.
Sell E0 (100% petrol), E20 and E85 side by side at every pump. Stop the forced feeding.
No punishing surcharge on E0 versus blended fuel. Choice must not be a penalty.
Exact ethanol % clearly displayed at every nozzle. No fine print. No mystery blends.
Publish costs, benefits, mileage and engine-impact studies of blends. Show the working.
Independent long-term studies on mileage, wear, emissions & maintenance. Protect consumer rights. Nitin Gadkari must answer.

Citizens deserve both the policy pitch and the workshop floor. Transparency means publishing the data — not asking drivers to trust a press release while their odometer contradicts it.
National media reported that the Raipur District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission directed replacement (or refund) of a Maruti Grand Vitara hybrid after repeated stalling linked to E20 use — total liability reported around ₹21 lakh. No membership cards. No quizzes. Practical steps for owners who paid for a vehicle and taxes — and refuse to be quiet about a forced blend.
Keep mileage logs before/after E20, fuel receipts, service invoices, and photos of clogged filters or injectors. Evidence beats argument.
Request a written position on E20 compatibility and warranty cover for your exact model year. Silence is also a data point.
If the vehicle repeatedly fails after E20 and the seller/manufacturer ducks responsibility, District Consumer Commissions exist for a reason.
Ask OMCs and pump managers for 100% petrol availability and clear ethanol labelling. Choice that only exists online is not choice.
Seek public data on blend percentages, testing protocols, and impact studies. Policy that spends your tank should survive sunlight.
