Who we are
The site is operated by E20 Janta Party (informally EJP), an unincorporated satirical and consumer-awareness project. Privacy questions: e20jantaparty@proton.me with PRIVACY or DPDPA in the subject line.
What we collect
- Browser storage. If any preference flags are stored locally, clearing site data removes them. We do not run membership or quiz databases on this version of the site.
- Technical logs. Hosting providers (e.g. Vercel or similar) may process IP addresses, user-agent strings, and basic analytics for security and performance.
- Email. If you email us, we read the email. That is the entire business model of email.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data to advertisers, parties, or ethanol lobbyists.
- We do not run election fundraising databases.
- We do not ask for Aadhaar, PAN, or bank passwords. If anyone claiming to be us does — it is not us.
Legal basis (DPDPA / GDPR-style framing)
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we process data on the basis of consent (you use the site / submit forms) and legitimate interest (site operation, abuse prevention, analytics). You may:
- Access: request a copy of data we hold about you (if any server-side copy exists).
- Correction: request correction of inaccurate data.
- Deletion: request deletion of membership or correspondence we hold (within 30 days, aim).
- Withdraw consent: stop using forms and clear localStorage; email us to delete server copies.
Cookies
Essential cookies may be used for security and hosting. Aggregate analytics, if enabled by the host, are for performance — not for selling you a new fuel pump.
Children
This site is aimed at adults discussing public policy and vehicle ownership. Do not submit personal data of children.
